The Birth of Versatility

Shweta was always interested in the world of glamour. She was born in Mumbai to parents Hema and Deepak Salve and has a sister name Sharvil Salve. She won the title of Miss Kaleidoscope in college. She was a regular on the ramp and also did many TV Commercials at that time. Her taking part in the Gladrags Mega Model Contest in 1999 gave her the much-needed exposure. She was a popular face in many music videos when the Pop Culture was at its peak in India.

She started doing theatre and was a part of the famous NCPA and Prithvi Theatre. It was at this time that the acting bug bit her hard.
